BASE - Feed for maintenance horse.
Complementary food made up of pasture and forage designed by Alimentos Altube for horses used for leisure activities, which do not carry out heavy physical activity.
In its formulation we include vaporised cereal flakes and very digestible legumes, as well as high quality fibres which are good for intestinal passage.
Undoubtedly, very appetising and digestible food, which covers the basic functional needs of your horse.
We cover all the flakes and ingredients of the food with vegetable oil which is rich in omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which, besides contributing energy, confer a very attractive and palatable presentation to the food.
In short, this is complete, balanced nourishment, which incorporates all the nutrients, vitamins and essential oligoelements which any horse needs in order to carry out its activity.
FERTILITY - Feed for pregnant and on milk mares.
Complementary food composed of pasture and forage recommended for pregnant mares and mares with suckling foals.
This is very balanced food with essential nutrients made up of top quality cereals (barley, oats, corn, wheat), vaporised in order to increase their digestibility, together with legumes such as peas and horse beans, (also heat processed), flax flakes lino and fibres rich in pectins which protect the intestinal mucus and help intestinal passage.
We enrich these flakes with natural ingredients, such as yeast, natural vitamin E, inulin, etc. in order to balance the formula harmoniously, have a successful pregnancy and favour the production of milk. We include minerals chelated in our mineral vitamin corrector as these are the only minerals which pass through the milk and can be absorbed by the foal in order to fortify its immune system.
GENERATION - Feed for foals from weaning to 4 years.
Complementary food made up of pasture and forage designed to favour the optimum development of the foal from the time it is weaned until it is 4 years old.
We use selected top quality ingredients which provide substantial nutritional value to the food due to our thermal-manufacturing process. All the ingredients are covered with vegetable oil and supplemented with vitamins and essential minerals.
We seek to provide the harmonious bone development of the animal with specific nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, vitamins D and C.
We endeavour to achieve a food which is very digestible and appetising, which favours enzyme digestion in the small bowel, supplemented yeast which stabilises digestion.
We only use high biological value vegetable proteins which provide the foal with the essential amino acids which it needs to achieve optimum growth and substantial muscular development.
CLINIC - Feed for convalescent horses needing a special diet low in strach 7-12%.
A convalescent horse or a horse forced to rest has a higher risk of suffering colics or laminitis if it is not provided with a diet suited to its needs.
For these type of riding horses used for sport and leisure in a recuperation period we have designed complementary food made up of pasture and forage which prevents and solves these pathologies and endeavours to achieve a very appetising nourishment with a high level of digestibility based on the use of vaporised cereal flakes, legumes and high quality long fibres.
We have reduced the percentage of energy in the feed, and increased the percentages of fibre and protein, while we supplement the food with vitamins, amino acids and chelated minerals to help the recuperation and favour the regeneration of injured tissue and reduce the risk of the appearance of arthrosis or arthritis.
P.R.E.MIUM - Feed for horses needing to gain on weight.
Complementary food made up of pasture and forage especially designed for Spanish thoroughbreds, which compete in competitions, or for horses which need to recover weight.
These samples of robust and elegant horses need specific nourishment, which, besides covering their nutritional needs, provides the essential elements in order to achieve a vigorous, healthy aspect.
To achieve this, we have created P.R.E.mium, food in whose composition we have placed special interest in the incorporation of sources rich in unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids such as the vaporised flakes of flax seeds and oil, which not only guarantee a source of lasting energy but also provide your horse with healthy skin and silky, shiny hair.
Our food also includes whole grain flakes of sorghum, as well as fibres which are extremely rich in pectins, which provide greater intestinal protection.

A special formula for horses used for sport and in competitions, with high physical activity and substantial expenditure of energy.
This food gives a rich source of easily digestible starch to your horses, as well as all the nutritional requirements they need, with quality and a very attractive and appetising presentation.
Its composition includes vaporised cereal flakes and legumes which provide an excellent source of energy, as well as top quality fibres very rich in pectins. All the ingredients are covered with vegetable oils rich in omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids.
We supplement this food with electrolytes, selenium and natural vitamin E fundamental for the correct hydration of the horse and to help recovery after intense work.
PERFORMANCE - Feed for horses on intense training and very short in lenght of time. For instance: racing.
Feed designed for horses which do exercise in an explosive manner, high performance horses, which, due to their intensive training and participation in top competitions, require an extra provision of energy for muscular activity at the highest level.
Its special composition combines several types of carbohydrates which can be easily and quickly assimilated, combined with legume flakes and high quality fibre.
This food is advisable for race horses or horses involved in similar activities during the days previous to the competition or before the strong training and also in order to quickly recuperate the state and form of the horse after it has made substantial efforts.
The composition of this feed includes oil rich in Omega 3, maltodextrins as a source of hydro carbon, bioflavonoids and L-carnitine, which help muscular cells to produce energy.
We also supplement the food with electrolytes, fundamental for correct rehydration and we include seeds and aromatic herbs, such as cola de caballo, which is a re-mineraliser for the prevention of muscular injuries, alholvain seeds, dandelion, which acts as liver–kidney purifier, flax seeds, which provide omega-3 fatty acids and selenium and natural vitamin E to help with rapid muscular recovery.
ENDURANCE - Feed for horses on hard training and lasting in time. For instance: dressage, driving, cross country, endurance, …
Complementary food made up of pasture and forage for sports horses which have to make prolonged, intense efforts with high energy expenditure. Horses participating in raids, complete competitions, dressage, horse and carriage driving events or any other similar discipline, require an energy which is freed slowly over a long period of time.
This feed includes energy which comes fundamentally from fibre and fat. Therefore, we include excellent quality fibre, which also encourages the development of intestinal flora and prevents dehydration.
We reduce the level of starch, which provides explosive energy, and we increase the energy from vegetable oils rich in omega 3 and 6 in order to obtain fuel suited to the needs of these horses.
We supplement this feed with selenium, vitamins A, C and natural vitamin E, whose assimilation is up to 4 times greater than the synthetic vitamin, these are effective antioxidants which reduce muscular damage and the negative effect of the stress due to intense exercise over a long period of time. We also incorporate an extra contribution of electrolytes in order to maintain an optimum hydric balance, together with vitamins of the B complex.
ZEN - Feed for nervous and hot horses on hard training.
Complementary food made up of pasture and forage especially recommended for horses used for sport and leisure which are very nervous or hot, and which have special energy needs. This provides tranquil energy and is also for ponies with the same temperament.
Its balanced formula of fibre, protein and energy, together with the high quality and digestibility of the raw materials used in its formulation, make this food the advisable choice for these types of horses, which, due to their special characteristics, do not require a diet rich in starch, but they do require a substantial level of energy with a low glucemic load.
Included in its composition are vaporised cereal and legume flakes, high quality processed fibres, flax and sunflower seed oils as well as all the minerals, vitamins and oligoelements which your horse requires in order to be fully fit throughout the year.
We also incorporate essential oils from plant extracts, natural antioxidants, chelated magnesium, lecitins and medicinal plants which calm down and relax the horse.
SENIOR - Feed for older horses (+14 years)on hard training.
Complementary food made up of pasture and forage for retired horses or horses which have retired from sporting activity and are not involved in strong physical activity.
Veteran horses have specific nutritional needs which we must know how to interpret and efficiently cover. We have adjusted and balanced the levels of energy, fibre and high quality protein in accordance with their requirements in order to guarantee the correct provision of essential amino acids: lysine and methionine. We supplement this with vitamins, chelated minerals and essential oligoelements in order to improve the physical condition, to help to reduce muscular damage and the risk of arthritis and arthrosis which are very frequent in these types of horses.
We include prebiotics and yeast (yea-sacc 1026) in order to improve and ensure correct intestine activity, a fundamental aspect of older horses.
ACTIVA+ - Vitamin mineral corrector to complement with 30 % of cereals or fibres.
Activa+ is conceived as a vitamin mineral corrector for horses which are fed basically with forage and cereals (basically oats and barley).
We have created a food which is very rich in essential nutrients such as fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and oligoelements in order to complement and offset what is lacking for horses which are only fed forage and oats or barley.
Balanced in protein and starch, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, active ingredients which favour digestion, seaweeds, vitamins and minerals, yeast and aromatic herbs. This corrector is designed to be mixed 30% with oats or barley, thus complementing the lack of vitamins and minerals in a diet of cereals.
FIBRA+ - Feed for horses or ponys needing special diets high in fibres and low on strach.
Fibra+ was conceived as a supplementary, dietetic or complete food, which is ideal for horses which do not carry out strong physical activity, as well as for ponies which do not have much physical activity either. This is a very appetising, natural compound made with best quality raw materials, among which are several types of forage, which cover the needs of these types of horses and ponies.
In the formulation of Fibra+, we have alternated a low percentage of highly digestible vaporised cereal and legume flakes, with the mixture of a high percentage of high quality fibre which favour intestine passage, which makes this compound an ideal food for the characteristics of horses and ponies with low energy expenditure.
NUTRI+ - Complementary feed in form of bran mash to stimulate appetite and digestion.
Nutri+ is a "Bran Mash" developed in order to be able to offer an authentic supplementary dietetic food for horses.
This is very easy to prepare and is especially recommended to stimulate the appetite, the digestion and the metabolism of the horse.
We recommend its use for convalescent horses after they have had an illness, in periodos de muda, in periods with hard work or especially intense effort, as well as for exhausted and dehydrated horses.
It is also very useful for older horses with chewing problems and for mares after servicing and after giving birth.
This may be of interest also for horses which have suffered problems of colics or other digestive ailments, as well as for horses which have lost their appetites.
We have designed a very appetising dietetic and sports food which is natural and purifying, with the best quality raw materials and a high number of bioactive ingredients which favour the digestion and metabolism of the horse.
We provide an extra provision of biotin and electrolytes in order to favour the rapid recovery and rehydration of our horse.
In order to prepare this, it is sufficient to mix it with hot water (50% food / 50% water), leave it to soak for 15-20 minutes and serve it cold or hot, as advisable.
NATUR+ - Complementary dietétic feed based on flax seeds to shine the coat and to gain on body condition.
Natur+ is a complementary dietetic food based on flax seeds in the form of vaporised flattened flakes, which contain natural antioxidants, which are not altered in the flattening process and provide a food with a minimum stability of 4 months.
The product contains a high proportion of essential fatty acids, which provide the animal with high energy value. Its high mucilage content (about 5%) makes Natur+ an excellent regulator of the gastrointestinal function of the horse as the mucilage, constituted by branched chain polysaccharides facilitate substantial capacity for the absorption of water, which is enormously beneficial for horses as it favours intestine passage and reduces problems of constipation.
The fat fraction of flax flakes is also very rich in polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids ( alpha-linolenic acid), very important for the health and the welfare of the animal, by also providing it with shiny, lustrous hair.
Natur+ can be provided directly by mixing it with the usual food of the animal (100 grams per feed) or in the form of mash, mixing it with water.

Natural antioxidant which prevents the formation of "free radicals". We thus increase strength, power and muscular recovery.
Added to the usual ration this acts as a source of energy to be freed slowly and achieves a greater energy level with a smaller dose of feed.
